Clean Works Services believes in a holistic approach to facility health. From properly formatted janitorial schedules to the correct floor maintenance, Clean Works has a solution for you.
The quality carpet maintenance begins with regular vacuuming. Your current facility maintenance staff or firm needs to pay special attention to detail vacuuming your carpet from semi-weekly to daily, dependent upon traffic. (Clean Works janitorial services are performed by knowledgeable cleaning technicians at a competitive price.) Vacuuming constitutes Stage 1 of your carpet cleaning process - Stages 2-4 are described below.
Regular vacuuming removes surface soil and debris - the main culprits in carpet discoloration, staining and damage. As this surface soil is rubbed into the carpet pile by traffic, abrasion causes carpet fibers to break down and eventually separate from the carpet backing. With the initial investment in your carpet, plus missed revenue from lost time due to replacement and overall aesthetics issues - maximize your investment and have your carpet professionally cleaned regularly.
Our client consultants will custom tailor a carpet program to fit your facility, and your budget, needs. Our certified technicians are experts in carpet care and will ensure your office, store, classroom or workspace looks great!!
To keep your carpet looking great, we use a variety of cleaning methods:
Carpet Spotting
- Spotting is great for those times when accidents happen - and accidents do happen - where you need professional removal of pesky stains. From coffee to oil, Clean Works has you covered!!
Bonneting- Stage 2
- Carpet bonneting is a maintenance process designed to remove soils on top of carpet pile and just below the carpet surface. Bonneting is cleaner than vacuuming, not quite as clean as encapsulation and not a substitute for extraction.
Foam Encapsulation - Stage 3
- Foam encapsulation is relatively new to the carpet cleaning scene. Harnessing a high level of chemical action, encapsulation employees a dry foam to "encapsulate," or surround, soil and suspend the soil for removal. Our process encapsulates, suspends and removes soil and finishes with a final vacuum to ensure the best possible result.
- Dry Foam is perfect for newer carpet and for Green carpets with water-based glue. Because foam encapsulation uses a relatively low amount of water, the risk of glue release is much less than other methods.
Hot Water Extraction - Stage 4
Hot Water Extraction is the old hand of carpet cleaning. Using truck-mounted technology, extraction provides the greatest result of any carpet cleaning process. Known as a restorative clean, extraction saturates carpets with 210°+ water and cleaning detergent, while simultaneously removing the cleaning solution and soil. Our technicians use a restorative tool in most instances which also restores carpet pile and helps with color retention*.
